Baked Crispy Chicken

Abigail’s Italian Breadcrumbs

RECIPE SERVES 4

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 4 Chicken Breast, Skinless, boneless
  • 1 Cup (240 ml) Abigail’s Kitchen Italian Style Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 Cup (60 ml) Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Parsley, 2 springs finely chopped
  • 1 Egg

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and coat lightly with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  2. In a bowl mix together breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, & parsley.
  3. In a small bowl whisk 1 egg.
  4. Coat each piece of chicken into the egg, then into breadcrumb mixture; shake off excess. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake chicken until thoroughly cooked (internal temp 165°F), 20 to 25 minutes, until breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  6. Remove from tray and serve.
